In other news, I am a massive nerd. But, you probably knew that already.

Not for the first time since I’ve been living in London, I woke up unnecessarily early in the morning to go spend hours of my life at an event that will probably seem hilariously unimportant years from now. Or, maybe not. I don’t yet regret any of my silly decisions, who says that future-me will suddenly become less of a total dork? (Chances are I shall remain thusly nerdy for the whole of my existence in this dimension.) 

Now to get to the good stuff: Whovians, beware. You may possibly implode in a fit of jealousy, because this chick went to the Forbidden Planet megastore on Shaftesbury Ave this morning and got a first-ever exclusive look at the new TARDIS speaker system that the Doctor Who merchandise team will soon be releasing upon the world. We got to watch a demonstration. And we got goody bags. And we got jammie dodgers and jelly babies. All for free, yo.And what was in those goody bags, you ask? A t-shirt, poster, and badge. Ooooh yeah, you’re now talkin’ to the proud owner of some fabulous free DW merch. 

And just a warning to my fellow nerds, beware the Forbidden Planet stores - their extensive stock of all things dorky and obsession-worthy is dangerously tempting. 

Harrods. The Land of Overpriced Excess for the Rich and Famous Brit. Harrods can even help you celebrate and have a happy Easter with their monstrous chocolate egg, priced at a rather reasonable £795. Oh, how I wish I was kidding. 

Spent my Easter Sunday on the London Eye. Typically gray overcast day of course, but at least the skies were bright enough for some decent photos, eh?

REUNITED AND IT FEELS SO GOOD. 

What happens when you take a couple crazy dancers, add the fact that they haven’t seen each other in months, and put them in front of a camera together at Buckingham Palace? Answer: This. 

Words seriously cannot describe how amazingly incredible it was to have my girls stay with me in London last week. I miss them all, my beloved Chapman buddies. So much. But next month I’ll be flying to Italy to pay a visit to Florence for a week and we’ll be reunited once more! I’m almost positive that any touristy attraction to see in London, we managed to fit into our week here together. (Even despite the freezing weather. Ah, London.) Everything seems fresh and new when you’re with someone who’s never experienced it before…I managed to even rediscover a joy in London’s public transportation, simply because those timeless red double-decker buses are so classically and quintessentially British and therefore so exciting to a tourist.
